Infinix launched the Infinix Zero 6 Pro on Tuesday, 25th February 2019. It is a follow up to the Infinix Zero 5 Pro and the latest phone in the Zero Series; coming almost one year after its predecessor was launched. This phone targets the mid-range market in Kenya. It is currently available on pre-order on Jumia and Kilimall from 25th to 28th Feb 2019. The suggested retail price is KSh 31,999.
The Zero 6 Comes with a 6.18-inch display with full HD+ resolution. It has a notch, a feature that many people who hate notches expected manufacturers will run away from in 2019. Folding phones, phones with sliding camera mechanisms and those with punch hole front cameras have made notches very unattractive! The display on the Zero 6 Pro is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
It seems Infinix decided to skip on having Infinix Zero 6, (a phone that was rumored a few months ago) in Kenya. In most cases, the base and pro versions differ only by RAM and/or on-board storage space (as far as Infinix is concerned).
At the heart of this phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. The Zero 6 has 128GB on-board storage space and is powered by a 3570 mAh battery.
Infinix Zero 6 Pro has impressive cameras. It has a 20MP AI powered selfie camera and dual 24MP + 12MP cameras at the back. This smartphone is available in two colors: Sapphire Cyan and Milan Black.
The Key Specifications Of Infinix Zero 6 Pro Are:
- 6.18 inches display with 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor
- 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage
- 12MP + 24MP back cameras, 20MP front camera
- Android 8.1 Oreo OS
- 3570mAh battery
This smartphone runs on Android v8.1 out of the package. Infinix has not revealed whether users will get an upgrade to Android Pie or not. This may discourage some people from getting the phone since most competing phones released in 2019 have Android Pie installed.
